PURPOSE This position provides project or day-to-day staff leadership or supervision for civil engineering design and/or construction projects and programs; performs professional level engineering planning, design and/or construction oversight for a variety of construction, remodeling and major repair projects of City or local agency buildings, flood control, roadway, water, wastewater, electric and other public facilities; and performs related duties as assigned. Provides a variety of project or program oversight of civil engineering activities for various City and local agency design and retrofitting projects. Responsibilities include working with staff, consultants and contractors to design projects, prepare plans, cost estimates and complete
