Aerotek is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a construction company in Spokane.
What you will be doing…
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
Complete preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
Safely operate equipment, including graders, backhoes, tractors, front end loaders, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, dump trucks, etc.
Some travel will be required – will be mostly working in the shop, and will need to travel to out of town job sites occasionally (Per Diem provided – amount varies based on worksite location)
What you have…
2+ years of experience as a mechanic
Experience working with heavy equipment preferred
Experience working with hydraulic and electrical components preferred
Knowledge of repair and maintenance of gas and diesel engines, semi-trucks, forklifts, excavation equipment, small engines for generators, etc.
Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues
