Aerotek is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a construction company in Spokane.

What you will be doing…

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Safely operate equipment, including graders, backhoes, tractors, front end loaders, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, dump trucks, etc.
• Some travel will be required – will be mostly working in the shop, and will need to travel to out of town job sites occasionally (Per Diem provided – amount varies based on worksite location)

What you have…

• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic
• Experience working with heavy equipment preferred
• Experience working with hydraulic and electrical components preferred
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance of gas and diesel engines, semi-trucks, forklifts, excavation equipment, small engines for generators, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues
